Payment Terms and Conditions

By paying booking fee customer agrees to booking terms and conditions.

Payment Provider

 
Bambora PayForm (Paybyway Oy, business-id FI24865594) is the payment facilitator of the online shop. The Paybyway Oy is a payment facilitator authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Finland. The payment process is conducted in the online service of the Bambora. Bambora or Paybyway Oy is shown as the payment received in the bank account listing and in the invoice. Paying with Bambora is safe. All information is exchanged through secured connections.

 
The trade happens between the online customer and the online shop. The online shop is responsible for all obligations related to the trade.

Payment methods

 
With Bambora PayForm you can pay your order by an internet banking account, a wallet, a payment card (credit/debit), an invoice or a partial payment. The following methods of payment are supported: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Paikallisosuuspankit, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, MobilePay, Masterpass, Visa-, Visa Debit-, Visa Electron-, MasterCard- and Debit MasterCard payment cards, Jousto and Mash.

 
MobilePay: You can pay with your MobilePay wallet if you have allowed online payments in the settings of the MobilePay application. Payment via MobilePay takes place directly from the payment card linked to MobilePay. If charging the payment from the linked card fails, MobilePay can not be used in the online shop.

Jousto invoice and part-payment is a Finnish service for making purchases quickly and safely. Jousto is for private persons having their economy in balance. With Jousto you will get 30 days time to pay without interest or expenses. After you have received an invoice, you can decide to pay it at once or in parts. You can pay our purchase in up to 36 parts, starting from 9,90 eur/month. Expenses for Jousto part-payment are 3,90 eur/month and 19,90% interest. With Jousto you can pay purchases from 30 to 3000 eur. Aurajoki Nordic Oy issues the credit. Read more from www.jousto.com.

 
Mash: Mash invoice and part-payment is available to over 20 years old consumers having a permanent address in Finland. More information about Mash: https://www.mash.com/en/services/customer

 
Mash Finance Oyj (2159120-9) is a Finnish financing institution operating since 2007. Mash Finance Oyj reserves a right to review the credibility and the address information of consumers using Mash invoice or part-payment. The consumer is also requested the provide the personal id number. The credit is approved or declined based on this review.

Booking and invoicing 

Prepayment is 30 % of the total booking fee.
Final payment will be charged six weeks (6 weeks) before the booking starts.
If the booking is done 8 weeks before the booking starts, the full amount will be charged. No additional booking or service fees are charged. 


Cancellation 

If the customer wishes to cancel the booking:

  • 28 days before booking starts:  
    the full payment will be returned deducted with 100 euros cancellation fee. 
  • Less than 28 days before booking starts:  full payment will be charged. 
  • Cancellation must be done in a written format by email sent to the owner.
  • The cancellation day is the day when the notification has been received in written format. 


Owner's right to cancel the reservation:

  • If there's a, force majeure, or other obstancle not depending from the property owner, the owner has the right to cancel the reservation. Hereby, customer has the right for full refund. 
  • If the booking hasn't been paid by the deadline, the reservation will be cancelled without any notification.

Key delivery

Key delivery will be agreed before the booking starts and when the booking payment is fully paid. If customer loses the key, the owner has the right to charge the costs related to the lost key.  

During the booking period, any additional door opening caused by the lost key will be charged separately. 50€ during workdays (until 18:00) and 75€ during other times. We recommend you to keep your spare key in the key box.

During your stay

The apartment/cottage is at your disposal from 16:00 on the day of arrival. On your departure day the apartment/cottage must be vacated by 12:00 unless agreed otherwise. 

Using hot tub without separate agreement is not allowed. 

Bed linen

If the booking does not include bed linen and customer has not booked any bed linen in advanced, she/he is expected to bring their own towels and bed linen. Bed linen must be used at all times. Customer is expected to cover any additional cleaning costs in case bed linen has not been used.

Cleaning

In case booking does not include cleaning service nor customer has pre-booked any, is the customer expected to clean the apartment/cottage in the end of the stay. If the cleaning hasn't been done properly, has the owner right to charge cleaning fee doubled.

Even if the final cleaning has been ordered or it would include into the price, it is expected customer to leave the apartment/cottage in a good shape, all furniture and equipment in their own places and intact, garbage taken out and dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

In case of any special cleaning needs, the owner has the right to charge extra.

Arctic Star Levi does not take any responsibility on customers belongings stored or left in the premises.

Damaged and disturbance

Customer is expected to cover any costs caused by damaging the apartment/cottage or the interior. 

In case of breaking the rules you may be immediately removed from the premises. In such cases you are still obliged to pay for the accommodation and additional services ordered. You are not eligible to claim a refund for payment already made. 

Renting the cottage to a 3rd party

Renting to cottage to a third party is forbidden.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed. In case customer has smoked indoors, we will charge the cleaning charged, minimum 300 €. 

Pets

Pets are only allowed in premises separately indicated and agreed.

Maximum amount of persons

Accommodation is allowed only for the maximum number of persons mentioned for each premise. Using tent or caravan is not allowed without owner’s permission. 

Complaints

All complaints regarding the premise’s condition and equipment should be made immediately to the owner.
